You're drawing me, aren't you?

Mm-hmm.

I thought you were, but then I thought nah, I'm too ugly --

--I don't think so.

But then I saw you were. I'm flattered.

There you are. I'm not sure you'll like it.

That doesn't look like me.

I'm sorry --

No, no, I mean, I'm much uglier than that. What did you do to my friend? That one's better, the one of her. This doesn't look so much like me. Can I see the rest?

Sure.

She leafs through my sketchbook for awhile. At her stop she thanks me, returns the book, and leaves the train. I'm left looking at the dozen big fat fingerprints she left behind...
