Rabbi Jeffrey Marker
is available to teach in your community

Jeffrey Marker is adept at teaching concepts of Jewish Renewal and integrating them into more traditional Jewish rituals and ideas. He has been a congregational rabbi, Hillel director, and hospital chaplain, and currently works with the terminally ill and their families as a chaplain in a hospice program in New Jersey and New York City. He also visits Jewish residents in several nursing homes and is Jewish chaplain at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Elizabeth, NJ. He has for many years taught those considering becoming members of the Jewish community, and has a particular interest in issues of sexuality and spirituality, and how they interact and intersect in our lives. Though he is happy to talk about encountering illness and mortality, he is also adept at bringing his breadth of Jewish resources to your community through dovenin(spiritual prayer), text study, and other varieties of teaching and sharing.
