Binary Surprises!
From my fevered mind and special Laboratory.
- LPCView 3.02 (tar.gz) for the NeXT
LPCView (distributed in source form) is an old editor of LPC datasets
which I fixed up. To GET those datasets, well, you need the cmix package
from the Princeton Sound
Kitchen,
the original home of LPCView, originally written by Laura Fischer.
- The collection of Amiga Music programs
which were mentioned in
this article for Experimental Musical Instruments Magazine. The
extension is .lha here, but they could be lzh's: I made this archive so
long ago, I can't remember which compression program I used! However, this
package has ALL of those programs in it:
- RGS
- The realtime graphical
synthesizer - which allows you to paint a spectrogram
HTMLized RGS docs
- Sound Bite
-
The audio travesty program
- Harm
- The crude harmonizer and other
effects program, and maybe
- Buzz
- The synthesizer server, suitable for
being called via ARexx programs for dynamical bleeping and blorping.
The programs which digitize require the Perfect Sound 3.x 8-bit
parallel port audio digitizer.
